3. HOSTING AND SERVER LOG FILES
This website is operated by an external service provider (host): [add name and address of host]. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
When you visit our website, your browser automatically transmits data to the server for technical reasons, which is stored in server log files: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, the page visited, date and time of access and IP address. These data are not merged with other data sources.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and error-free provision of the website. Log files are deleted after seven days at the latest, unless longer retention is necessary to investigate a security incident.
4. COOKIES
This website does not set any cookies.
5. CONTACT FORM AND EMAIL
If you write to us via the contact form or by email, we process your details (email address, message and, optionally, company, name and phone number) to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
To prevent misuse, a checksum of your IP address is stored for one hour to limit the number of messages per sender. We delete your enquiry once it has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
6. YOUTUBE VIDEO
On the “Systems” page we show a video from our YouTube channel. It is only loaded when you click on it. Only then is a connection established to the servers of YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland); we use the enhanced privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com). The legal basis is your consent by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). More information: Google privacy policy. Data may be transferred to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
7. LINKS TO SOCIAL NETWORKS
Our website links to our profiles on Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube. These are simple links: only when you click one are you redirected to the respective network, which then collects data about you. Simply visiting our website does not transmit any data to these networks.
For our company pages on these networks, the privacy policies of the operators apply: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. for Facebook (privacy policy), LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (privacy policy) and Google Ireland Limited for YouTube (privacy policy). We are jointly responsible with Meta for the Facebook page; the agreement pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR is available here.
8. DOWNLOADS
We provide data sheets, posters and papers as PDF files directly from our server. Only the log file data listed in section 3 are processed.

This website is delivered exclusively via encrypted HTTPS. We take technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, manipulation and unauthorised access.
